The Fantasma Floor Light was designed for Flos by Tobia Scarpa in two sizes. This Fantasma Piccolo is the smaller variant.
For his Fantasma, Scarpa was inspired by the cocoon of a butterfly. To create this effect, Scarpa made a "cocoon" resin which is protected by a transparant sprayed on finish. A diffused light shines out of this cocoon. The result is a unique and artistic eye-catcher.
