The Mass Light is inspired by the street lamps of Paris, Barcelona and New York. This massive lamp with female, elegant curves lights up every cozy corner but also fits beautifully over the dining table, alone or combined.
Inspiration
On their travels to big cities such as Paris, Barcelona and New York, architects Kasper Ronn and Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen from Norm.Architects were fascinated by the street lights. Back in their studio, the boys deconstructed the concept of these street lights with an iron top and a semi-transparant glass bulb. The next step was to reinvent these lamps with the same materials. The result is Mass Light: an iconic indoor pendant lamp.
Materials
The Mass Light comes in a marble, brass or copper finish. Thanks to its simple form, all the attention is drawn to its carefully picked out materials.
