About this project
The owner was looking for pleasant, overall lighting that beautifully enlightens his collection of glasses. This project was realised in collaboration with architect Karine Ribbens of Aprilone.
Our solution
For this optician we chose practical, simplistic, yet classy lighting in a mix of white surface-mounted and recessed spotlights. When you look at the ceiling this creates a fun 3D effect, giving it just that little bit of extra magic.
Practical lighting
At a retail business it is important that the customer can visualise the product to the best of its ability. Therefor, choosing the right lighting is of great importance. Everything needs to be lighted in a way that the customers gets the right idea of the product and its effects of him, for instance when trying on a new pair of glasses. This way of lighting we put in the ceiling using surface mounted and recessed spotlights. In some cases, the best lighting is the lighting we don't notice. It simply creates the best possible atmosphere we can lose ourselves in.
