Lumina Daphine - practical and simple

Tommaso Cimini

In the mid-1970s, thanks to his innate ability to innovate, Tommaso Cimini adapted his workshop's machinery to shape Daphine, a lamp that has become a timeless icon of Italian design. Tommaso was creative and had great knowledge of materials. Therefore, it is no surprise that his designs can be found in famous design museums.

In the years of their debut, the Cimini family tested every lamp made on a daily basis, so that the light could be experienced realistically and the shape could be examined in ergonomic terms; a verification method still used today.

Today, Tommaso Cimini's old designs have all been updated with LED technology.

The Daphine collection

The lamps within this collection are characterised by the most essential elements, such as a slim hinged arm, a small adjustable diffuser and the visible transformer on the base. The arm can be rotated both forwards and backwards during which you can also adjust the head. So you don't have to lift the lamp to redirect your light.

The Daphine lamps are often popular for the living room, reading room or office.
