Foscarini Spokes
Foscarini Spokes expresses a sense of light weight and movement. As if traversing a magical and geometric network, the light filters out from within and projects a kaleidoscope of blocks and voids. The Spokes lamp stands out for its elongated and dynamic form.
The pendant lamp Spokes was inspired by images of antique oriental lanterns and less exotic aviaries . The designers observed the spokes of a bicycle wheel and from this the lamp takes its name. The result is soft shapes and a lightweight lamp that holds the light so it can shine into the room. The lightness of the project goes hand in hand with the solidity of the forms in metal bars and the usability of the LED light source, allowing the lamp to both perfectly illuminate surfaces and project a play of light and shadow on the walls with a magical multiplying effect. The development of the project in two shapes, two sizes and two color variants highlights its versatility, making Spokes particularly suitable for both living spaces and public places and ideal in large architectural contexts, also in its multiple compositions.
