&Tradition P376

The P376 pendant lamp is a perfect example of Kastholm & Fabricius' subtle architectural slant on design. Five concentric shades, originally designed in 1963, create gradations of curves toward the center of the lamp to emit a soft, diffuse light. The shades' discreet placement and silky aluminum finish result in a cohesive expression that is both iconic and mesmerizing.

Jørgen Kastholm (1931-2007) and Preben Juhl Fabricius (1931-1984) were driven by a common mission to make form a pure derivative of functionality. Both were architects, graduates of the Danish School of Interior Design where they studied with Finn Juhl and later Arne Jacobsen. The P376 pendant lamp is an excellent example of Kastholm & Fabricius' subtle architectural slant on design.
