Solar eclipse

The Kuta table lamp was designed by Vico Magistretti. Magistretti was clearly inspired by the effect of a solar eclipse. The circular reflector in aluminum creates an indirect light effect that resembles the light output of the sun during a solar eclipse. Here as well we witness a circular glow around the round reflector which partly takes away the light but also reflects it.
