Lumina is an Italian light producer, born in 1980 by Tommaso Cimini and currently followed up by his two sons, Ettore and Andrea Cimini. Lumina produces technical as well as decorative lighting with the slogan that the italian traditional craft should go together with the most progressive and advanced technologies.

The biggest icon within the Lumina-family is the legendary Daphine (1975) by the hand of Tommaso Cimini, representing the firm in every way. Daphine symbolizes timelessness and is surprisingly flexible in every space.

The cooperation between Foster + Partners, the english architects of Norman Foster, and Lumina has produced some real blockbusters in the lightworld. Amongst those we count Flo and Dot, impressing by their elegance.
