Flos Stylos Floor Light

Achille Castiglioni and his brothers Livio and Pier Castiglioni are one of the founders of the Italian Design movement. Castiglioni studied architecture at the university of Milan and founded his own design company in 1944, together with his brothers. This company grew to be one of the most famous design companies in Italy, thanks to the unique designs and the clear vision of the Castiglioni brothers. When his brother died in 1968, Achille continued to be a designer, but now for companies such as Flos and Alessi.

The Stylos is a beautiful example of such a design for Flos. Castiglioni's floor light resembles a Roman column. This majestic and grand lamp fits perfectly in the living room or bedroom. The Stylos provides an indirect and diffused light. The lamp has a zilver base and a column made out of white opaline glass. Its minimal yet classical look lights up every interior.
